For commissions/scores: bugdenross@ This piece is the partner to my last track, 'Dusk'. It starts in a similar place but goes somewhere quite different. Dawn has so much energy. The air tastes new and the hush of night blooms through a gentle buzz into the messy bustle of day. A delicate moment where emotional peace and ecstatic ambition coexist. Love it.

For commissions/scores: bugdenross@ This piece will have a partner, predictably titled 'Dawn', which I am working on now. It takes things in quite a different direction, and I'm excited for you to listen to them both! Dusk tends to be nostalgic, even melancholic for me. As everything softly melts down into the horizon, I usually find myself swimming around in a pool of indulgent lugubriousness.

Guest: Almond Blossom
For commissions/scores: bugdenross@ violin - Tianhao Yang piano - Albert Chen ( Van Gogh's 'Almond Blossom' is one of my favorite pieces of art. It was painted in Southern France in the spring of 1890, in response to a letter from Vincent's brother Theo announcing the birth of a son. The brothers were close, and the child was named after Vincent.

I shot and edited the video myself. I know it's a bit rough. From now on I’ll only be using visuals made by myself or by an artist I know. More fun, more artistic, more legal, haha. This track is free to use and monetize. No need to get permission. Just credit me (link my channel or video, or simply mention my name).

Katharina Fuchs - Violin Magdalena Milovanovic - Viola Ilya Osachuk - Double Bass Kiara Nathaniel - Piano Video and acoustic version on second channel For commissions/scores: bugdenross@ This piece is (obviously) about skies, especially in the Canadian prairies, my home. I wanted to capture them on a literal level (the constant shifting and evolution) and on a symbolic level (the emotions they tend to evoke, which I would describe as a humbling and melancholic awe).

For commissions/scores: bugdenross@ I scored a film a couple years ago called The Most Beautiful Day ( and while the melodies and progressions were decent, and the recordings I got from the musicians were fabulous, I didn’t have the skill to put it all together in a way I was satisfied with. I decided I’d made enough progress to give it another go, and this is what came out (I used the recordings and basic melodies, but rewrote most of it).
