From high school to world politics, Mean Girls is an excellent example of storytelling genius, as the movie mixes a teen rom-com into a conspiracy to overthrow a dictator by rebel forces. I analyze how the filmmakers match two different film genres into one, and how it relates to the real world, from Zohran Mamdani winning the New York Mayoral Elections to Trump's own 'mean girl' ways, to the toppling of Saddam's regime, and more.
