3D Printed Throttle Body Adapter Handles 15lbs of Boost! | VR6 Swapped B5 S4

720 views · 4mo ago · 11:40

What is going on everyone. It's been a minute since the last video, but the B5 S4 is still running great and making boost. Long story short, the welded aluminum throttle body adapter I had on the VR6 bit the dust. Instead of fighting with more welding to fix the compound bend, I decided to just 3D print a solution. I picked up an 82mm Bosch throttle body, modeled a new adapter, and printed it out of solid ASA. Honestly? It's holding up perfectly.

Luckily these are two easy (but annoying) fixes that just required tedious work and not draining pockets. Hopefully this gets us on the road and reliable so that we can get some power numbers.
